The department belongs to the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University (LTH). It is located to Kemicentrum and to Campus Helsingborg. The institution has two divisions, Food Technology and Applied Nutrition and Food Chemistry.

The department provides undergraduate education and postgraduate studies. We can also tailor specialised courses for individuals or small groups in the food and dairy industries. Commissioned research is carried out in collaboration with the food industry.
